Wrong number, Idiot.
So, I received a call from someone claiming that I had his phone, and telling me to return it, with regular use of “fuck” to get his point across. Threats were made, I was scared, so I hung up. He calls back, and I ignore it. He calls a couple more times, until I pick up again. More threats, more expletives. I’ve had enough, so I do the mature, grown up thing. I run to my mommy.
Something I already knew: My mom is a VERY scary woman when provoked.
Something else I knew: Threatening her 16 year old daughter tends to provoke her.
Something I learned: Her scariness is just as effective when exercised over the phone against angry strangers.
Something else I learned: Remembering to dial the area code is very important, and can keep you from incurring the wrath of a “mama bear”.
I am so very, VERY, glad she is on my side.
